Job Purpose
Coordinate and plan the maintenance department workflow by providing effective planning to keep operating equipment safe, efficient and reliable. The scheduler is the central coordinator of the maintenance group that interfaces with all aspects of the operating plant. This position communicates regularly with maintenance leads, technicians, production, lab, engineers, warehouse, purchasing, contractors and management. Maintenance Scheduler will assist in the field as needed.
The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, and HSE standards.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain daily, weekly and monthly maintenance schedules to ensure efficient operations. Ensure that all craft disciplines are 100% resource loaded for worked hours.
- Communicate and coordinate schedule updates and changes regularly with various site departments and contractors.
- Routine interaction with Gatekeepers and technical teams to ensure priority work is defined and scheduled which will include but not limited to compliance activities, high priority corrective maintenance, small projects and long-term corrective maintenance
- Generates reports to keep the maintenance management team informed of work progress and future work schedules.
- Incorporate PM work into the work schedule at the right timing to ensure PM’s and compliance driven repairs do not go overdue.
- Facilitation owner of the weekly schedule review between operations and maintenance which includes coordination of downtimes and equipment availability.
- Enter history and time confirmation into notifications as needed. Line of site to ensure time is confirmed and TECO work orders.
- Maintain weekly/monthly metric reporting such as PM compliance, backlog, schedule compliance, delay and barrier codes including scorecard population and graphs as needed.
- Assist in coordination of jobs.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three plus (3+) years of Maintenance Craft or related experience.
Preferred
- General understanding of development of predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
- General understanding of SAP PM.
Competencies and Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate through written correspondence.
- Results orientated, self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as lead/participate on teams.
- Microsoft Office- Outlook (email, calendar, etc.),Applications (Word, Excel, Project, SAP, etc.).
