Job Purpose:

 

As part of the sales organization, the Area Account Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing and directing the sales activities of the company in a designated area to achieve sales objectives, as an Independent Contributor.

The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, and HSE standards.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

 

  • Develop deep knowledge of market and applications of Oxea products
  • Explore new business opportunities, also in alignment with Business Development teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all customers in the area of responsibility.
  • Develop and implement Key Account Plans
  • Work closely, and share information with marketing and sales colleagues to achieve company objectives
  • Develop good understanding of competition and market dynamics
  • Build strong networks with internal teams; Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service and others as needed to achieve company objectives
  • Facilitating adaption of more effective and efficient procedures incl. CRM usage, account planning, forecasting, digitalization.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

 

Education requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.in Marketing, Business, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering) from four-year college or university

 

Background, Experience, Competencies and Skills:

 

  • 7-10 years of chemical industry experience 
  • Results oriented 
  • Ability to self-motivate and work with internal and external teams to achieve objectives 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong language and communication skills 
  • Willingness to travel. 
  • Strong understanding of current chemical portfolio

 

Notable Working Conditions: Extensive computer use, domestic travel (up to <75%)
