Job Purpose:

 

Executes the day to day logistics operations at Oxea Group Performance chemicals under regional Supply Chain scope.  Through the analysis and execution of local and international logistic plans, the organization of shipments routes in line with company/clients requirement, the effective collection and verification of export documentation, preparation of international delivery schedules and communication with clients to tracks/keeps shipping records.  In order to ensure cost effectiveness and timely management using vendors for exports of carriage, and contributing with Global Supply Chain function with its goals. 

Team Lead has the responsibility to lead the Delivery Coordinator to work in compliance if department goals and address day to day internal and external requests associate to on time delivery, customer complains and all activities associated to the department.

 

The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, and HSE standards.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Analyses and executes logistic plans and support
  • Organizes all shipments in line with company requirements, as per priorities in coordination with operations and the Logistics Service Providers (LSP
  • Responsible for SAP daily transactional activity for terminals
  • Create Delivery Note and Shipment Note for non-SAP terminals
  • Coordinate Order and STO posting and paperwork for physical/non-physical returns and replacements
  • Reconcile month-end inventories for terminals / soft-close for terminals on a weekly basis
  • Resolve any posting discrepancies
  • Communicate any resupply related issues with SCP as well as any process or scheduling issue
  • Process, scrutinize, approve and dispute resolution for invoices (OT, demurrage, detention, terminal, storage and miscellaneous)
  • Executes export documentation according the company standards and best practices. 
  • Prepares schedule and informing supervisor for further communication strategies to all relevant departments.
  • Offers advice on selecting optimum shipping routes.
  • Maintains and tracks/keeps shipping records
  • Produces required reports on activities based on the set suitable KPIs
  • Logistic plans are developed on a timely basis
  • All shipments are organized in line with the requirements and priorities
  • Export documentation is completed on time
  • Delivery schedule is prepared and communicated to relevant departments
  • Optimum routes are analysed and proposed with recommendations  
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Lead department on QN findings for proper review and conclusion
  • Lead delivery team on vacation schedule and work from home.
  • Support the Logistics Procurement on reviewing trucking and ISO tender
  • Lead and support delivery team on trucking issues, alternative loading points, month end close, work instruction, and daily work activity.
  • Support reviews delivery team terminals responsibilities for balance split of workload.
  • Support department on ISO audit, procedure reviews and group reediness for internal and external audit.
  • Review delivery coordinators performance KPI's
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

 

Background and experience

  • Minimum of 3 years direct related experience dependant on education, preferable same role.
  • Expertise in Logistics Processes and Shipping Terms.
  • SAP Experience
  • Knowledge on transportation laws and regulations

  • Aware of International transportation rules & IMO regulations
  • Quick thinker able to develop innovative and creative solutions to problems. Logical and systematic
  • Dynamic self-starter
  • Strong written, verbal communication skills.
