Job purpose

The Quality Systems Specialist for OXEA will provide support and assistance in the maintenance of the Quality Management program. Supporting US Quality Management for addressing quality-related customer issues and requests, including products, services, and quality procedures that drive sustainable growth and customer satisfaction. Using expertise in quality management, chemical manufacturing systems, and data-driven decision making, the role fosters collaboration, supports continuous improvement, and adapts to meet evolving customer demands.

The successful candidate will champion a customer-focused culture, support alignment with industry standards, internal policies, and key certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Halal & Kosher, and ISCC PLUS. Additionally, they will serve as an internal auditor in the audit program, addressing nonconformities, driving corrective actions, and verifying compliance.

 

The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, and HSE standards.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • SAP QM: Manage outputs (CoAs, quality notifications, inspection lots)
  • Creating and maintaining procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with ISO and internal standards.
  • Tracking and reporting of customer and internal complaints and corrective actions
  • Customer responses to surveys, questionnaires, and documentation requests
  • Serving as internal auditor, assisting in external audits for ISO and customer audits
  • Provide quality support for operational issues, including issue resolution and coordination with logistics and operations teams
  • Support root cause investigation and corrective action responses related to customer complaints on quality and service failures
  • Review prior cargo content to ensure product integrity and compliance
  • Support new product and specification development process from setup to go live.

 

Education requirements

  • Bachelors' Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other related technical field

 

Background and experience

  • At least 5 years' experience in the chemicals industry
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory testing and analysis
  • Working experience with ISO and other quality management systems requiring compliance in industries such as cosmetics, food, automotive, or other similar regulated sectors
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives and effective interface with diverse groups
  • Understanding of petrochemical manufacturing processes, chemistries, and laboratories
