Job Purpose
Join OXEA, a leading chemical supplier of oxo chemicals, as a Senior Financial Analyst in our Americas Commercial Finance team. This role plays a pivotal part in driving financial performance at product and customer level for North America and Latin America regions. Partnering with sales, marketing, procurement, and business development teams, this role optimizes revenue growth, profitability, and strategic decisions in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment. You'll lead deal analysis, pricing strategies, and profitability reviews to drive margin expansion and operational efficiency, requiring strong analytical skills, innovation, attention to detail, and the ability to influence stakeholders.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and insights to global and regional commercial leadership, senior management, and the CFO.
Customer & Product Profitability
- Analyze customer and product profitability to identify high-value opportunities and optimize resource allocation across markets.
- Develop and maintain pricing models, discount structures, and profitability frameworks to support competitive and profitable sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and regional economic factors to inform strategic pricing and commercial decisions.
- Incorporate supply chain data to model cost impacts from raw materials and logistics.
Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to global and regional commercial managers, providing financial insights to support deal structuring, contract renewals, and new business opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, supply chain, procurement, product development) to align financial plans with commercial strategies.
Process Optimization & Systems
- Promote the adoption of best-in-class financial tools and systems (e.g., SAP, BI Tool, CRM) to enhance forecasting, reporting, and analysis capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of commercial finance processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across operations.
- Leverage data analytics and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) to enhance decision-making and provide real-time insights into commercial performance.

Notable Working Conditions
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
- Travel of up to 10% may be required for occasional meetings, training, or cross‑functional collaboration.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field required; Master’s degree (e.g. MBA) preferred.
Background and Experience
- 4+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on commercial finance, business partnering, or FP&A in manufacturing—ideally in chemicals or commodities.
- Proven expertise in financial modelling, pricing analysis, and customer/product profitability; familiarity with chemical industry dynamics (e.g., supply chain volatility) is advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and BI/automation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred. Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
